Rita Mezzanotte is an accomplished Communications Professional with over 30 years of experience developing and executing all aspects of communications strategies including media relations management, media coaching, large-scale media and promotional events.

As a former press secretary to high-level politicians, Rita has navigated the national and provincial political arenas and is comfortable in a fast-paced complex environment. She has been acknowledged for her proactive, collaborative approach to achieving objectives.

As an independent communications consultant since 2011, Rita has assisted clients to assess and attain their communications goals through tailored strategies, and customized media coaching. Some current and recent clients include, the Canadian Solar Industry Association, the Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario, Express Employment Professionals, Ledcor Group of Companies, the Toronto Parking Authority and Bike Share Toronto.

Prior to operating her communications consulting practice, Rita was a senior consultant at one of Canada’s largest public relations firms.
